OUR 5TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS!
In 2018, Lune Valley Swimming Pool officially reopened as a community run swimming pool in the heart of Hornby. Over the past 5 years it has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows, from Covid-19 and the rise in energy costs, to expanding the number of opportunities we can offer to the community and having over 600 people swim with us every week!

So to celebrate all the fantastic achievements we have had over the last 5 years, we are having a range of festivities taking place throughout the month of October.

Take a look below at what we have going on. There is something for everyone to enjoy!
October Celebrations
All festivities below will be taking place at the pool.
During October the swimming pool foyer will be decorated in celebration and on the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of October, party music will be played in the pool hall during all sessions.
LVSP themed cupcakes can be purchased at reception as well as a quiz for £1 each. A prize will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
On Friday the 20th of October, an anniversary cake cutting will take place with local councillors and trustee members.
Family Fun Afternoon Party
Our Family Fun Afternoon Party will take place at
the Hornby Village Institute.
On Saturday the 21st of October, we will be holding a family fun afternoon party, 3pm till 5pm, at the Hornby Village Institute.
With a Bouncy castle, party games and a picnic tea, our afternoon party is guaranteed to be lots of fun!
We even have a themed fancy dress competition with a prize being awarded to the child with the best 'Under the Water' themed costume.
£7.50 per child, accompanying adult free.
All children must be supervised by a responsible adult for the duration of the party.
Tea, coffee and biscuits available to adults attending.
Tickets for this event can be purchased from the swimming pool reception.
Sounds of the 70's Party Night
Our Sounds of the 70's Party Night will take place at the
Hornby Village Institute.
On Saturday the 21st of October, we will be holding a Sounds of the 70s Party Night, 7:30pm till 10:30pm, at the Hornby Village Institute.
With hit songs from ABBA, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac and so much more!
Dig out your favourite 70's costume and come and join the party!
